The house rules are a little pedantic. No coffee or tea making facility in the room and I was pretty jet lagged so awake for hours and hours with tap water… bed is comfy, room was small, atmosphere in hotel is lovely. Bfast was lovely as well. A nice selection of bfast dishes although I stuck with the bread because it was truly delicious and very fresh by Joris Brood.
A peaceful place in the nature. Good food. Very nice rooms. And a fantastic Terrace and chimney room. Great for relaxing or offsite business events. There is a little cottage that serves as meeting room. All well curated and cared for. Recommend!
This restaurant is a hidden gem that you might bump into after long day's walk around National Park. Super comfy wooden seats in front and like a family-run ambiance with an elegant finish. Inside you feel the comfort and luxury in design, outside you feel relaxation with the view. Menu is price-wise above average (except hot drinks and beers), and after 7pm the facility is quite empty. Smiling faces on helpful staff makes this point a nice choice as a matter of fact.
Bit of a mixed bag. Literally the best breakfast ever! And the location and ambiance are wonderful. Service is also very good, very kind and attentive. Downside, We stayed in cabin 2, which was cool in the woods. Unfortunately I was quite dismayed by the state of the bathroom. It was old and I have had better showers on campgrounds. Small, old fashioned and gross. We spent an hour trying to get the tv streaming working as per the instructions. But when we called we were told that those instructions were for the actual hotel rooms and the tv’s in the cabin were too old for streaming. If you’ve paid so much for a special one time experience that’s Disappointing. No coffee and just a bit of (delicious) tea in the room was also a bit of a let down.
Have not slept in their hotel but had dinner and lunch here several times. The location is unique and quaint. The terras is cosy, the inside of the restaurant fits with the surroundings and is very airy,
Cosy and natural. The food and drinks are good. Service good too. They were so kind to our dog and made her a special meal. Its one of my favorite spots. Truly a treasure.
Perfect location to National park entrance and town. Beautiful room and great service. Dinner at the restaurant was great and breakfast was even better. Loved ending our days sitting in front of the outdoor fires with a glass of wine
We booked a cabin in the woods and for 249 Euro we got an old youth hostel-like room.
The rooms on the website looked amazing but those pictures do not apply to this booking. - very misleading
Amazing place!
Feels like a home away from home.
Right on the edge of the natural park with amazing morning views.
Restyled around 2020, it is a truely cozy, quite luxurious, well thought throu place that makes you just stay, enjoy, grab a book and never leave.
Staff was great, especially on the first evening.
Vegan options are 5 stars! Just the right selection!
We certainly would advise this place and hipefully come back soon!
